Let me introduce myself
My name is Jasper Dirkse. I’m 33 years old and was born and raised in Harmelen, a small, quiet town in the middle of the Netherlands.My interest in being a cameraman developed at an early age. My father and some of my uncles worked as cameramen, so it was only natural that I would be captivated by the most fantastic, creative, adventurous, and artistic job there is – a CAMERAMAN.

Work experience
In February 1993,I started working for Cinevideogroep, a well-known Dutch television (facility) company with international ties. It was here that I gained valuable experienced and learned all that I needed to know to become an all-round cameraman.After seven, wonderful and fantastic, years with Cinevideogroep, it was time for me to spread my wings. In 2000, I started my own company as a freelance cameraman.
